Welcome to the Savannah. Pith Helmet’s, Jungle sounds, African melodies and stone like towers welcomed guests to the event.  Stepping into the ballroom the guests enter a space transformed to evoke the concept of a marquee looking out over the African savannah.  A video montage is screened to depict two large windows and features landscape, wildlife, culture and the human world of the Savannah.  Hanging mobiles of hurricane lamps rotate through the ceiling of the room, stone walled entrances and exits define the space and hand painted tables with centrepieces made from pith helmets, long dried grass and LED lights complete the styling.   Guests were entertained by the fabulous Zimboyz, Afro Beat drummers and DJ Keeth Diamond.
